Our time in Scotland was amazing. We were once again invited to attend Glorious Tempo in Inverurie Town Hall, a gospel outreach to the people of Inverurie. It is hosted annually by the RCCG Fountain of Love Inverurie and having ministered there for the first time in 2022, this year we saw growth and commitment from other Christians who supported the event as well as members of the local community who attended.
In Edinburgh, we were invited to minister in a church on the outskirts of the city in a village called Newbattle. As we ministered we saw the power of God move on all those present and many came forward for prayer. The following day we ministered at a church in Edinburgh very close to the city centre and again there was a tangible presence of God as we worshipped.
Northern Ireland
Soon after, we traveled to Northern Ireland where we ministered in Belfast and in Moira, Craigavon. We felt the presence of God so strongly and are humbled that He would use us for His glory! In the church in Belfast, there was such a heavenly atmosphere during the service. At the meeting, we met a lady from Norway who told us that she was overwhelmed that we were actually in Belfast as she had recently become a Christian. She couldn't believe that God had brought Vinesong, a ministry she had heard about on the internet, to her home town.
We also met a gentleman called Hugh whose wife passed away a few months ago and when she was ill they discovered Vinesong on YouTube. Hugh told us how deeply the music had ministered to him and his wife during this time and brought them so much closer to God. He encouraged us and told us that the music and the ministry are life changing, so we should continue to press into God and allow Him to use us to transform lives.
United States
As you may know, we usually organise a three-month ministry tour of the United States every year. The last time we went was in March 2020, just as the pandemic was starting. It was a time of miracles and you can read testimonies from that time here. Since then, we haven't been back as we felt God telling us it was not yet time to return. Then we received an invitation from our long-time friend at Lillies International (liliesinternational.org). She hosts an annual event in New York called 'Worship His Majesty King Jesus'. We were honoured to be considered as this event is known for its purity without strife.
It was an honour to worship among other worshippers whose songs and ministries have had a global impact: Nathaniel Bassey, Alvin Slaughter and Miriam Webster to name but a few... The amazing thing was that despite everyone's fame, all the glory, worship and praise was given to one person: the King of kings and Lord of lords. The atmosphere of heaven permeated the building as we lifted up the name above all names, Jesus, with one voice, one heart, one faith, one hope and one baptism, the baptism of God's love. It was an amazing time in God's presence and we were overwhelmed by His goodness to us and His awesome presence.
And finally...
Looking back, our recent travels from Scotland to Northern Ireland and finally to the United States have been nothing short of remarkable. Each stop was a reminder that our ministry is touching lives and making a real difference. Seeing the supportive turnout at our ministry events warmed our hearts, as did the many profound moments of God's presence during our worship services.
Meeting people who'd personally felt the impact of our ministry was incredibly humbling. Who could forget the testimony of a gentleman called Hugh from Belfast whose experience of our music brought such comfort to him and his wife during a difficult time? And what about the Norwegian lady who was simply overwhelmed when we appeared in her home town of Belfast? Moments like these, coupled with the huge worship event in New York, are a constant reminder that our work is an extension of His work in and through us.
Being part of these special moments, basking in the presence of God with believers wherever we are, simply leaves us in awe of God's greatness. Our lives are transformed and our ministry becomes richer and deeper as countless lives are connected to the King of kings and Lord of lords.
