It was their ministry in music and worship, which in the years of my ‘Eurovision’ East/West Conferences in Karlsruhe West Germany, from 1988, released the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit... the fulfillment of God’s Prophetic Vision to see the power of God break the Iron Curtain and see a mighty Holy Ghost revival sweep across Eastern Europe... we saw real revival overcome the communist spirit. In communist Bulgaria –as Vinesong ministered – we saw thousands kneel under the power of God and receive salvation and the baptism of fire. Thousands came to Christ and hundreds of churches opened. Almost every revival in history has come with music and preaching – Moody and Sankey in the US, John and Charles Wesley in the UK. There is no question that the ministry of John Watson and Vinesong was mightily used at the beginning of the move of God which is still continuing today in the former communist countries. I believe that their ministry will still be used as that revival is now exploding again in Europe, but there are so many places still untouched where this ministry will bring the breakthrough.
Vinesong is my favourite gospel and worship team. Their leader, Pastor John Watson is one of my pastors, ordained by me. He is a good and solid man of God and the team has ministered incredibly well in many churches of the Redeemed Christian Church of God all over the world.
